Stan Store vs Linktree: a store or a page of links
Linktree is a page of links that can also sell, free to start and $15 a month for 0% fees. Stan Store is a storefront with courses, bookings and a community, from $29 a month with no free plan. Neither takes a cut at those prices.
The answer in one paragraph
Pick Linktree if your page is mostly links and selling is a side part of it: it is free to start, and $15 a month removes the platform fee. Pick Stan Store if selling is the point, and what you sell is courses, coaching calls, subscriptions or a community: that is what its $29 a month is for.
Prices are from Linktree’s pricing page and Stan’s pricing post (updated 22 July 2026), as of 6 October 2026.
Prices side by side

| Top plan | Premium, $35 a month ($30 billed annually) | Creator Pro, $99 a month ($948 a year) |
Over a year on monthly billing: Linktree Pro is $180, Stan Creator is $348, Stan Creator Pro is $1,188.
Fees
Neither takes a percentage at the plans most sellers end up on. Stan charges zero transaction fees on both plans. Linktree advertises 0% on Pro and Premium, and says fees “vary by plan” below that without printing the number on its pricing page.
Card processing is separate with both. Linktree states Stripe’s 2.9% plus $0.30 per purchase on every plan.
What each is built to sell
Stan Store on the $29 plan: digital downloads, a course builder, a calendar for booked calls, recurring subscriptions, lead magnets, a community, and Instagram AutoDM. The $99 plan adds the marketing layer: discount codes, order bumps and upsells, payment plans, affiliates, email broadcasts and ad pixels.
Linktree: links first. On top of that, digital products, courses (described as Kajabi-powered), sponsored links and affiliate commissions. Premium adds social post scheduling and Instagram auto-replies.
A fair way to put it: Stan gives you more of a shop for more money, and Linktree gives you more of a page for less.
Who should pick which
Linktree, if:
- Most of what you share is links to other places.
- You want to start free and upgrade when sales justify it.
- $15 a month is your ceiling.
Stan Store, if:
- You sell courses or coaching and want booking and hosting in one tool.
- You want subscriptions or a community.
- You plan to use upsells and email, and $99 a month is fine for that.
One thing to check before choosing Stan on price alone: discount codes are on the $99 plan, not the $29 one.
A third option, for links plus a few products
We make hej.link, so weigh this accordingly.
If you sit between the two, with a page that is mostly links and a few things for sale, hej.link is built for that. Blocks can be files you sell through your own Stripe account, or real products from a Shopify store with a cart on the page. It is one plan at $15 a month with no seller fee.
It has no courses, bookings, subscriptions or community, and no free plan, and it is in early preview. A 7-day free trial is planned for when it is released. Today you can reserve your name and wait for your turn.
The longer versions: hej.link as a Stan Store alternative and as a Linktree alternative.
