The short version
Beacons is a bundle. The page in your bio is one part, next to a store, email sends, a media kit, a small website builder and a set of AI tools. If you want most of that, it is hard to beat, and you can start free.
hej.link is one thing: a link-in-bio page where the links can be products. It costs $15 a month and takes no cut of what you sell.
What Beacons costs
From Beacons’ pricing page, as of 6 October 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | Seller fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 9% |
| Creator | $10 | $100 a year | 9% |
| Creator Plus | $30 | $300 a year | 0% |
| Creator Max | $100 | $900 a year | 0% |
The 9% question
The fee is what decides it for most people who sell.
On the Free and Creator plans, Beacons keeps 9% of each sale. Creator Plus drops that to zero for $30 a month. So the sum is simple: 9% of $333 is $30. If you sell more than about $333 a month, the free plan costs you more than Creator Plus would. From the $10 Creator plan the gap to Plus is $20, which 9% reaches at about $222 a month.
Below those numbers, Beacons’ free plan costs less than any subscription. Above them you are choosing between $30 a month at Beacons and other tools.
hej.link is $15 a month at any sales volume, with no fee. At $170 a month in sales, 9% is already more than $15.
What you give up with hej.link

- No Instagram auto-DM.
- It is in early preview, and selling digital products is still being tested with a small group.
If your week involves pitching brands and mailing a list, that is Beacons’ ground.
